SAFV, SEARHC, the Sitka School District, Youth Advocates, the Sitka Public Library, the US Coast Guard Wives and Spouses Association, Sitka Imagination Library, and other organizations are joining together to offer a slate of free and fun family outdoor activities during the spring. The good news is it's fun and easy to help our children along - just talking, sharing, connecting, and playing together can help build a strong foundation for a healthy family.
Take part in as many activities as you like. While all events are open to the public, some events require registration and have participation limits. See calendar.
Sign up to become eligible to win weekly and monthly prizes. There are two ways to win. ONE: Complete monthly email surveys about participation. TWO: Post family challenge photos on the top post of the Sitka Kids FB page. OR Post family challenge photos on your social media with #thrivingfamilieshealthyfutures or #SitkaFamilyChallenge
