We are working to promote children’s literacy by providing free libraries throughout town. These little libraries are completely free and offer families the opportunity to take books home or leave books to share with others. With more books in their hands, kids will be able to open their imaginations and travel to different worlds and places from the safety of their home. It has been proven that the more books in a household, the more successful a child will be with literary and mathematical skills. Little Free Libraries can be found on Baranof Street, Etolin Street, and at the SawMill Creek apartment Complex. We hope to open up more near the schools and beyond!
